If you’re an adult thinking of going back to school, you probably have a lot. But if you’re worried about how you’ll get back to school-make sure you’re not alone. According to a recent survey of 23-55-year-old adults conducted by Champlain College Online, 60 percent of adults considered going back to school, but said financial barriers included student debt, which for sure to keep them.

Description: The Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship Fund (JRF) provides scholarships and support to low -income women age 35 and older throughout the United States to build a better life through high school education.
Description: The Custody X Change Giving Fund provides three scholarships to single parents each year. To apply, you must be a full-time student at a college or university with a degree in or outside the United States and an equivalent GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Scholarships Designed For Adult Learners
Description: The Adult Education Program (ASEP) offers scholarships to non-traditional students who decide to pursue college education. This $ 1,000 award is available to eligible adult students attending a participating university.
Definition: Scholarships are awarded to Texas residents dedicated to teaching children, youth, or graduate school libraries. Must study at a Texas institution.
Description: The Ford Family Foundation established the Ford ReStart Scholarship Program to encourage adults, 25 years of age or older, to begin or return to full-time education, after high school. Description: The Beacon Scholarship for Rural America assists low-income students living in rural areas in their college endeavors. SARANAC LAKE — The Women’s College Scholarship Club is offering nine $ 1,500 scholarships. There are five high school scholarships of $ 1,500 each for senior high schools and four continuing scholarships of $ 1,500 each. These scholarships are for residents of Franklin and Essex counties and are available to both men and women.
Grants To Go Back To College: Financing For The Nontraditional Student
The high school scholarship is for students who graduated from Saranac Lake Central High School this year. Scholarships can apply for tuition at a college, university or business school.
Scholarships for continuing education are for non-traditional students — adults who want to return to school after a year or more of graduation. They can use the scholarships to find a job at the university or to change or improve the job. Applicants must have a master’s degree or G.E.D. Part-time students may apply. Adults who have already started a program can apply.
