Take courses to enhance their understanding of the environment in which they work and live. Business Administration courses (Business Administration, Business Law, Business Legal Environment, Management, Business Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship) introduce students to management control, business economics, human resources (employees), labor relations, business risk, and interaction and give a general knowledge of business. Government and business law, production and distribution. They provide the basis for areas of expertise, such as accounting, finance, or marketing management. Management courses prepare students to become entrepreneurs, or lead to a career in managing a large company. These courses can provide new insights and training for an existing manager, offer new career prospects for a younger student, or an opportunity for an older student to change careers. The real estate program is designed to prepare students for professional certifications as real estate salespeople and real estate brokers. All courses are taught by practicing real estate professionals with strong academic backgrounds, extensive practical experience and local community service. These courses are useful for real estate investors, developers, appraisers, escrow officers and property managers. There are attractive career opportunities in these fields in Santa Barbara.
