To determine the states with the lowest and lowest educational attainment in the US, include the 50 states from the two priority areas, Education and Health.
We investigated these dimensions using 18 measurement scales, which are listed below with their respective weights. Each measure was scored on a 100-point scale, with 100 representing “most educated.” For some measures in which women were rated as more favorable to men and blacks than whites, we assigned equal scores to non-gender/racial status.
