The curriculum is based on the California Professional Educational Standards (CPSEL) and consists of 154 hours of classroom instruction and 77 hours of online conversations throughout the year. College members invite “small sitting experts,” individuals with special knowledge in a specific area relevant to the course, to share their experiences with participants. Online conversations take place in small groups between specific courses moderated by online coaches. These stories make it easier to learn online and work in a guided setting for each course.
