Colorado Springs School (CSS), on the site formerly known as Claremont, is a private, nonprofit, pre-university college in Colorado Springs that teaches elementary school children through grade 12.

) The site is located on the former Claremont Mansion, which was built as the home of Charles and Virginia Baldwin in 1907. The main building, the Trianon (formerly known as “Claremont”), is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The school is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
Colorado Springs Episcopal School for Girls was a college-prepared school established with a certificate issued in July 1961. In March 1962, when it ceased to be affiliated with the Episcopal Church, it was renamed Colorado Springs School for Girls. The school opened in September 1962 with Walter Drake and his wife, Margaret Campbell, as their first Headmistress, with 23 studs at their former home on Pourtales Road.
By the end of 1967, the rollmt had climbed nearly four floors and the Board of Trustees voted to purchase all of the Trianon properties at 21 Broadmoor Avue and the approximately 12 acres now known as Boddington Field.
The school bought a house at 24 Pourtales for nailing in late 1965. 1976 The Children’s School was established to study Kindergarten through Grade 12 and was merged with the Colorado Springs School. Technical education has been included in the school curriculum since 1976.

Colorado Springs School has eight academic buildings from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The secondary school building is named El Pomar Academic Cter, which is provided by the El Pomar Foundation Secondary School offices and administrators living in the historic Trianon.
The Childr’s Academic Cter consists of Grades 2 through 5. The Childr’s School has Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 classes. The theater and theater are in the Louisa Performing Arts Center. The Louise Honn Tutt Field House is the school’s gym, locker rooms, locker rooms, and music classes.
